Welcome to
Ultimate Holography
The Finest Holographic Recording Media in the world
Ultimate Holography provides holographic emulsions that meet the requirements for the highest quality holographic work, for a variety of applications, ranging from high sensitivity for pulsed and continuous lasers to very high resolution for holographic reflection applications
Ultimate Holography offers Emulsions in both plate and film including high sensitivity for pulsed and continuous lasers (typical ~7000 lines/mm for “Ultimate Standard” 15nm) to very high resolution holographic reflection applications (~10,000 lines/mm for “Ultimate Ultrafine” 8 nm).
Sensitivity for our most popular product,
Ultimate Standard
is 75 µJ/cm2, about the same sensitivity as the former
8E75HD Agfa material for continuous lasers, but with much better resolution and
contrast. For our
“Ultimate Ultrafine”, the sensitivity is a
remarkable 100-200 µJ/cm2
This means only a 2 second exposure is required on 4” X 5”
(10.2 X 12.7cm) Denisyuk hologram using a 10mW HeNe laser.
For reflection red holography, factory pre-swelled plates can be purchased, to
obtain instant color control or non-pre-swelled for mastering applications.
Color pre-shifts and spectral sensitivities can be specified. In all cases,
washing, sensitizing, latensification, hardening or other laborious
pre-treatments often necessary for other manufacturer’s materials are not
required at all. Alternatively, conventional color control techniques may be
used as well.
We also have a material for high resolution Lippmann photography
(Ultimate
Lippmann)
Processing for
ULTIMATE EMULSIONS has
been simplified to two optimized, low toxicity baths, developer and bleach. This
chemistry is available in pre-packaged form. All our materials have been
optimized for this safe and easy processing. Other conventional formulations may
also work well with some experimentation but we recommend Ultimate Chemistry for
processing Ultimate Emulsions.
